01

Article 50 applies August 2, 2026.

The European Commission says Article 50 transparency obligations apply from August 2, 2026. Its current guidance describes a limited transition through December 2, 2026 only for Article 50(2) marking and detection duties for qualifying generative AI systems placed on the market or put into service before August 2, 2026.

That does not prove any particular company is in scope. It does mean product, legal, and engineering teams need to distinguish the timelines accurately.

02

One bounded implementation.

No sprawling governance program. No compliance theatre.

  1. 01

    Map the approved duty

Translate the facts and buyer-approved legal scope into exact product surfaces and acceptance criteria.

  2. 02

    Patch the experience

Implement the selected disclosure or one supported provenance path in a single web repository.

  3. 03

    Prove what shipped

Automated checks, accessibility review, staging evidence, limitations, and a dated handover bundle.

03

Built for a very specific handoff.

Good fit

  • Live customer-facing AI web product
  • EU users or near-term EU customers
  • Named product and engineering owners
  • Counsel or compliance owner defines the duty
  • One repository and staging environment

Not a fit

  • You need a legal opinion or certification
  • The product is safety-critical or regulated
  • You need a full AI governance program
  • You cannot authorize repository access
  • The work spans native apps or multiple products
04

A clean last-mile handoff.

For counsel, compliance advisors, or product studios with an approved requirement and a client short on engineering time.

  1. 01

You define the requirement. Your team retains the client and advisory relationship.

  2. 02

We confirm technical fit. One JavaScript product, three surfaces maximum, and a reproducible staging path.

  3. 03

Forhemit ships the patch. Buyer counsel owns applicability and approved wording; we deliver implementation and evidence only.
