Refund & cancellation policy
The policy is designed to make a rapid engagement reversible before work starts and proportionate after delivery work has begun.
Before kickoff
A buyer may cancel for a full refund before kickoff. Forhemit will also issue a full refund if, during final qualification, we determine that access, scope, capacity, or buyer readiness makes responsible delivery impossible.
After kickoff
After kickoff, a cancellation refund equals the amount paid minus completed delivery work valued at $400 per hour and minus any buyer-approved, non-refundable third-party cost. The deduction cannot exceed the amount paid. Forhemit will provide the time record supporting the calculation.
Undelivered scope
If Forhemit cannot deliver an agreed item by the adjusted deadline for reasons within our control, the buyer may choose a reasonable extension or a refund for the undelivered portion. The parties will use the accepted scope and time record to determine that portion in good faith.
Buyer delays and blocked work
The schedule pauses when required access, product facts, engineering ownership, or counsel/compliance decisions are missing. If the buyer does not resolve a documented blocker within five business days, either party may cancel. Completed work is deducted under the after-kickoff rule and the remaining balance is refunded.
Defects
Reproducible defects in the delivered scope reported within seven calendar days after handover are corrected without an additional fee. A scope change, third-party service change, production issue, or new legal interpretation is not a defect.
How to request a cancellation or refund
Email Stefano.Stokes@forhemit.com from the buyer address used at checkout. Include the business name and reason for the request, but do not include payment-card data, passwords, credentials, or other secrets.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Bank and payment-network processing time is outside Forhemit's control. Refunds and disputes reverse challenge revenue totals.
